Founder Story
THE NS DESIGN began with a belief—that architecture should be defined not only by how a building looks, but by how intelligently it is planned, how precisely it is executed, and how meaningfully it is experienced.
Founded in 2017 by S. N. Yogi, THE NS DESIGN is an architecture and design practice based in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. With a foundation in Civil Engineering, S. N. Yogi brings together technical understanding, practical experience, creative thinking, and a deep respect for the built environment. This approach allows design vision to work alongside materials, construction, functionality, and execution.
The name THE NS DESIGN carries a personal connection to the founder’s parents, representing their names and blessings—a reminder of the values, gratitude, and responsibility behind the practice. This foundation continues to inspire the studio’s journey forward.
Growing from Jodhpur has also shaped the practice’s architectural sensibility. The stone, courtyards, light, shade, craftsmanship, climate, and architectural heritage of Rajasthan are reinterpreted through a contemporary design approach, creating spaces that are modern in expression yet rooted in their context.
Over the years, THE NS DESIGN has evolved across luxury residences, villas, private estates, hospitality projects, interior design, townships, and master planning across Rajasthan and India. Every project brings a new context and an opportunity to create architecture with greater clarity, character, and purpose.
Today, S. N. Yogi, Founder & Principal designer, continues to lead THE NS DESIGN with a simple ambition: not simply to create more projects, but to create better work—architecture that combines vision with technical precision, contemporary expression with lasting value, and design with a sense of permanence.
